GSG Support Services
Overview
- Client: GSG Support Services
- Project Date: 2013
- URL: http://www.gsgsupportservices.com
- Role: Front-End Developer
- Responsibilities: I worked with the Director to rebrand GSG’s logo and website. Along with the rebrand I created new business cards and a brochure.
GSG Support Services is a respite provider in Orange County. The company renders in-home companionship for individuals with special needs. I joined the GSG Support Services team in 2010 as a caregiver and office temp. The owner asked for my assistance with their rebranding.
We approached the rebranding for GSG Support Services by defining the company's mission statement. We explored different color schemes, fonts and styles. Soon enough we finalized the logo moving forward with bright blue and purple. The blue implemented a tender connection with the autistic community served and added purple to emphasis GSG Support Services devotion to each individual’s care. I added an inverted puzzle piece once more including the autistic community. I placed it in a circle to symbolize a secure space like a motherly embrace of her child.
They are one of many respite agencies in Orange County. The goal for the GSG Support Services site is to provide additional information about their services to parents seeking a respite agencies. This site is targeted to parents who want to procure respite care services in the Orange County area. It outlines information about the services they provide and the staff employed.
When creating the site I used media queries that adjust the size of the site to the dimension of the screen it's being viewed on. This allows busy parents to access the site on the go. Aside from the site I also designed their business cards, envelopes, and brochures.
